Mohammed/Muhammed Ali, fake references (S01E02)

Meet Mohammed Ali (probably not his real name), a renter in Hampstead, London, who decided to stop paying his rent to landlord Paul Bloom, and who became violent and aggressive when confronted.

These are images of Mr Ali screaming at Paul Bloom and eviction specialist, Paul Shamplina, in the building where Mr Bloom’s apartment is located.

In an article titled “Tech makes it easier for rogue tenants to fake referencing documents” Mr Shamplina says, about the rogue tenant Ali: “With such rapid advances in technology, falsifying documents via apps on smartphones is easier than ever,” says Shamplina, who says in this case and several others he’s dealt with even the tenant’s passport documentation was fake.

With the help of bailiffs, Mr Bloom was able to get this parasite out of his property, though he has lost thousands in legal fees and missing rent.
